Regain at the 14th International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement - Beijing 2015

Regain and its collaboration partners contributed with two scientific papers to the 14th International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement held in Beijing from October 13 to 16, 2015.

In essence, both studies Effects of the Incorporation of Aluminium Fluoride Mineralizers in Portland Cement Clinker Phases and Clinker Mineralization using Refined By-products from the Aluminium Industry confirm the beneficial impact of HiCAl products on clinker manufacture. Fluoride from HiCAl products has similar effects on clinker phase formation like fluoride from natural origin and improves clinker burnability significantly. These findings once more demonstrate that Regain’s refined by-products can reduce the ecological footprint of both the aluminium and cement industries simultaneously.
